Job Description

This position reports to the Datacenter Admin and is responsible for installing, maintaining and monitoring the operation of the organizations Infrastructure Applications like Lotus Notes, ISA, Antivirus, Black Berry, Domain, Active Directory, VPN etc. This also includes management of all business and infrastructure servers, related hardware, application and database backups and DR managementEssential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Responsibilities Installs Operating System releases and system upgrades for Windows 2003/2008 and AIX servers.
- Evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
- Monitors Infrastructure applications at Head Office and Co-Locations to ensure a high level of data integrity and availability. Performs server evaluation and optimization on a regular basis.
- Surveys performance needs and goals of infrastructure users.
- Internet/Intranet connectivity and continuity.
- Manages all administrative aspects of corporate (EFL HO, Plants and Remote Employees) desktop support.- Maintains Corporates Physical and Virtual Servers, including those located off-site.
- Maintains accurate inventory of data center assets.
- Maintains Corporate email system.
- Maintains wireless communication system, Blackberry operations.
