Purpose	As a member of MITRE's Cyber Security Team, you will help develop, apply, and integrate advanced technologies and approaches to solve our nation's most critical Cyber Security problems.
Security Clearance Level	Secret
Key Functions	Apply knowledge of network architectures, sensor technologies, and cyber threats to detect, diagnose, and appropriately respond to cyber-attacks directed against the Global Information Grid. Help develop and implement improved tools, techniques, and procedures.
Required Education/Experience:	BS and 1 year experience or MS
Desired Education/Experience	B.S. in Computer Science, Information Security, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field and 2 years operational experience.
Required Skills:	• Knowledge of Information Assurance principles and their application. • Knowledge of enterprise and network security concepts and solutions. • Excellent communications, writing, and briefing skills.
Desired Skills	• Knowledge of programming languages, databases, Internet networking, and enterprise architectures. • Understanding of the types of data produced by network sensors. • Ability to work with others to solve challenging technical problems. • Ability to build relationships with government sponsors.
Travel Statement	*This position will require overnight travel up to 5% of the time.
