The Vault

The Vault team is responsible for tracking platform usage. With millions of billable events per day, Heroku has a unique opportunity and engineering challenge to accurately and reliably capture platform usage while providing a great user experience.

The team is looking for a senior engineer to build both user facing systems and internal tools that make the process of collecting and managing the invoices on Heroku as seamless and automated as possible. You should passionately care about business and large scale systems.

You should be obsessed with:

• Building systems that deal with money.
• Designing products that customers will love.
• Operational robustness.

Bonus points for:

• High volume OLTP experience.
• Immutable data structures.
• Data warehousing.
• PostgreSQL.
